Technical expertise provided for the customer include over 40 years experience of professional testing and balancing of mechanical systems. We will be more than happy to include this knowledge with each rental at no additional charge.

Air Flow Testing Lab now has limited operation as of 1 / 2008

Technical specs for RCI's test bench:
    All test instrumentation is NIST traceable and recently calibrated.
        Velocities up to 3000 fpm at 1000 CFM
        Volumes up to 1800 CFM @ 0.5" wc
        Volumes up to 1000 CFM @ static above 0.80" wc.
All testing, until further notice, is at ambient air density @ 642' msl.

Test section can be configured for special application. Custom grille and diffuser testing available. (You supply test product.)

Flow hood calibration verification only (standard procedure) at 250 CFM, 750 CFM and at 1000 CFM.
( RCIofIA does not calibrate flow hoods but can compare readings to measured values.) Cost is $110.00 plus shipping:

           Setup: Varies per test requirements.
This charge is for labor and materials to configure test bench to your requirements.
        Lab time: Is estimated to be ~ $150.00 per hour for test time after setup.
This includes written report and is subject to adjustment if test is other than standard.
